“Is there art in a broomstick?,” asked Time magazine in 1953. This session explores the meanings of good design and how it can enhance everyday life. Furniture, appliances, electronics, cars, and more will be discussed—including a selection of good design classics still in production, which visitors can touch and try for themselves.
This session is led by Jennifer Gray.
