In the final weeks of the exhibition, MoMA’s Marron Atrium hosts the New York–based Movement Research (MR), one of the world’s leading laboratories for the investigation of dance and movement-based forms. At the Museum, MR offers classes, workshops, and discursive events, transforming the Atrium into a space for creative process and education.
Workshop Manifestations, shown in the Atrium, are the culmination of offsite workshops that pursue deeper explorations into new dance processes, ideas, techniques, and ways of making work.
