Maggie Garret, a big star on Broadway, is loved by audiences—and especially by her free-spending, freeloading family. One night, mobbed by autograph seekers, Maggie is rescued by Dan Brewster, a wealthy Bostonian. Dan has long admired Maggie from afar, and as they become closer he suggests she cut her family’s purse strings. Maggie doesn’t appreciate this suggestion from a relative stranger and gives him the boot. But Dan and Maggie are destined to be together, so keep an eye on the plot twists!
