Experience our new exhibition Bruce Nauman: Disappearing Acts after-hours at Night at the Museum — an evening of art, music, and cocktails with DJ bb basura and screenings of the documentary The Bruce Nauman Story. On view across MoMA PS1's entire building, this major retrospective showcases the artist’s skill in a range of mediums, from drawing, printmaking, photography, and sculpture to performance, 3-D video, neon, and large-scale installations. Interrogating structures of power and established norms, questioning value judgments such as “good” and “bad,” and leaving his work open to multiple, often conflicting, understandings, Nauman compels his viewers to relinquish the safety of the familiar.
Visit Bruce Nauman: Disappearing Acts at MoMA before heading to Night at the Museum at MoMA PS1. MoMA is open for UNIQLO Free Friday Nights until 8 p.m.
