Hank Whirling finally cuts ties with the callous Borman Brothers in order to run his own circus. The bank even floats him a loan, but business hasn’t been so good lately and those mysterious accidents keep happening. Suspicious of the Borman Brothers, Hank thinks sabotage is afoot. The Big Circus is a big movie, produced by Irwin Allen—who went on to become a disaster king in the 1970s with The Poseidon Adventure (1972), The Towering Inferno (1974), and others.
