Twentysomethings Eddie, Shrevie, Boogie, Billy, Fenwick, and Modell have been friends since grade school, and fixtures at Baltimore’s Fells Point Diner for nearly as long. Eddie plans to marry his girlfriend Elyse on New Year’s Eve, 1959—but only if she can pass his Baltimore Colts trivia test! Clearly none of these young men are mature enough to take on a serious relationship, so they seek comfort and support in each other.
