The only extant reel from the second version of Their Town (Toby Short), also known as reel 10 – “Color Lights on Cast,” is seen but not heard in The Chelsea Girls. It features the cast of Superstars reciting their lines while Billy Name’s color light work plays over them. In [Unknown Eric Reel], Emerson interacts with fellow Superstars Susan Bottomly, Angelina “Pepper” Davis, and Ingrid Superstar. Conversations about whether he is a boy or a girl and whether or not he is conceited are heard while he fusses with Ingrid’s hair, blows up balloons, and expertly makes a silver Mylar dress for an unappreciative Bottomly.
