These two compilation reels are comprised of 23 silent, black-and-white, 100-foot rolls that were assembled for use as background projection during the filming of The Trip and Their Town (Toby Short). The visual complexity of those films is enhanced by Billy Name’s rich, color lighting, his own 35mm color slides, and background film projections. With few exceptions, the scenes on these rolls are erotically charged and ecstatically shot with a lot of in-camera edits. They range from solo portraits of Eric Emerson and Archie preening, posturing, stripping, or masturbating, to couplings featuring Ronnie Cutrone kissing and licking Angelina “Pepper” Davis.
