Falsely convicted wife killer Vincent Parry escapes San Quentin hiding in a garbage truck, but a radio bulletin about his escape forces him to slug the driver who stopped for him. After changing clothes with the unconscious driver, Parry finds himself face-to-face with the alluring Irene Jansen, who develops a soft spot for the convict. Like Parry, Irene’s father was falsely accused of a crime he did not commit.
