Presenting works spanning the renowned photographer’s entire career, the exhibition Stephen Shore offers a sweeping perspective on everyday life in the US over the last 50 years. We will explore how Shore's use of seriality and his negotiation between close-ups and panoramic views turn the commonplace into the Uncommon Places that inspired the title of his legendary 1982 publication. This session meets at the entrance to Stephen Shore, Floor 3.
