"Good Time is a breathlessly exciting heist thriller from the wonder boys Josh and Benny Safdie (Heaven Knows What, Daddy Longlegs) and co-screenwriter/editor Ronnie Bronstein (Frownland), set over the course of a single panicked night in which a scuzzy, two-bit bank robber from Queens (played by a never-better Robert Pattinson) tries to spring his mentally disabled brother from jail. The Safdies prove themselves worthy heirs to the seedy ’70s realism of Lumet, Pakula, and Friedkin, abetted by the claustrophobic cinematography of Sean Price Williams and the heart-pounding soundscape of Oneohtrix Point Never" (Daniel Lopatin).
