H.I. McDunnough, a crook who knocks over convenience stores, and Ed, the cop who takes his mug shot, fall in love during the fingerprinting process. The couple gets married when H.I. gets out of prison, only to discover they are unable to have children. But H.I. always has a scheme cooking in his head, and Nathan Arizona, Sr., a local furniture mogul with a bombastic personality and cut-rate television commercials, just had quintuplets. Would the Arizonas even miss one baby?
