100 Ways to Make a Picture
Drawings made of light or using the inked tire of a Model A Ford, paint-splattered goats, roller-skating parachutists, a bubbling vat of mud—these are just some of the ways Robert Rauschenberg redefined art. In this session, we will investigate Rauschenberg’s famous notion of acting "in the space between" art and life by looking at works that challenge traditional relationships between artist, viewer, and art.
This session is led by Petra Pankow.
