Throughout his career, Frank Lloyd Wright negotiated the relationships between form and function, structure and decoration, and graphic and three-dimensional design. In this session we will discuss a variety of works, from residential designs and Midway Gardens to the Guggenheim Museum, that offer insight into Wright's lifelong engagement with the "grammar of ornament."
