The beautiful Cecile and her playboy father Raymond live on the French Riviera, where their idyllic lives are impacted in different ways by an old family friend named Anne. The intense sun of the south of France, the carefree afternoons spent dozing in gardens, and the cool sips of white wine all add up to a most sensuous experience for all—except the proper and sometimes prim Anne, who loves Raymond but is not really of his world.
