What if who we are is based on conversations between many people, past and present? What if some of these people have influenced the shaping of our identities, even if we've never met? We'll discuss identity as an ever-changing, incomplete dialogue, paying particular attention to works by Kara Walker, Samuel Fosso, and other artists featured in the exhibition Unfinished Conversations: New Work from the Collection.
This session is led by Kerry Downey.
