With Cary Grant, Myrna Loy, Melvyn Douglas, Reginald Denny. Tired of their cramped New York City apartment, Jim and Muriel Blandings decide it’s time to move to the Connecticut suburbs and have their dream home built. Little do they know that construction mishaps, spiraling costs, and the life-altering period of being virtually homeless will bring them both to the brink of madness.

This film accompanies Modern Matinees: Mr. Cary Grant.
