This conversation focuses on several recent additions to the Museum’s collection, by artists who speak to today’s crises in truth. Inspired by Marshall McLuhan’s 1964 phrase “the medium is the message,” we will compare the different strategies artists use to make their work, and how their choice of medium influences how we receive their message. Participants are encouraged to look at and discuss these works together, in a spirit of collective dialogue and learning.
This session is led by Kerry Downey.
