Juliet, a middle-aged housewife with a no nonsense haircut and a tailored wardrobe, stays home and smokes while peering at the bombshell neighbor who entertains many gentlemen callers. Juliet suspects her husband is having an affair and desperately wants to leave him. She must dig deep for the courage to do so and it is her memories—including a typical Fellini seaside parade—that sustain her in her convictions.
