This classic Cold War thriller about a fictional nuclear crisis kicks off at Strategic Air Command in Nebraska, where the Air Force detects an unauthorized craft in their airspace. Protocols are enacted and the USAF sends a squadron toward Moscow loaded with bombs. The unauthorized aircraft turns out to be an off-course civilian plane, so what does the president do when the Russians send planes toward the US?
