From Conner’s first film to his most iconic, these three works—A MOVIE (1958), MARILYN TIMES FIVE (1973), and CROSSROADS (1976)—display Conner’s mastery of found-footage cinema focused on the explosive warfare and sexuality of cinematic imagery, and highlighting the intrinsic destructiveness of Cold War America.
