In this comedy about life inside the Bensonata Penitentiary, two convicts, St. Louis and Dannemora Dan, break out of prison and separate while on the lam, only to meet again later. Bogart plays Steve, a young prisoner who falls in love with an inmate in the female population on the other side of the prison courtyard.
