In this interactive workshop, artist Jeanine Oleson (American, b. 1974) investigates how the vocal and visual components of language can be broken down from their logical formations to offer other means of expression through tactile and physical engagement. Participants explore language and utterance through a series of exercises. Ideas emerging from these exercises will be “scored” through touch, culminating in a group performance.
Space is limited. Sign up is first come, first served in the Cullman Education and Research Building beginning at 2:00 p.m. on the day of each program.
