This fifth feature by the South Korean director of Virgin Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors radiates a distinct New Wave vibe with its droll, pointed account of two old friends, an academic and a filmmaker, who meet again after a long separation and decide to spend an evening with a woman they both dated (and mistreated) years earlier.
