Donya Feuer followed ballerina Katja Björner over five years, from her intensive training at the Royal Swedish Ballet School to international prominence. This award-winning feature is the culmination of Feuer’s decades-long experimentation with filming dance through close up and montage—an intense scrutiny of the body in motion—and her sustained meditation on the drama of a dancer’s commitment to her art.
