While a group of men look at his wanted poster, Bill Evers, nonchalant and dressed in fancy clothes, converses with the local sheriff. Evers, a masked stagecoach thief, easily manages to evade capture—until he tries to help a young man who unwisely imitates Evers’s criminal ways.
