Join Souls in Focus for an off-site photo tour at The New York Public Library’s Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Participants will join Souls in Focus and Schomburg staff to view images from the library’s collection from such photographers as James Van Der Zee, Marilyn Nance, and Malick Sidibé. Participants will also learn more about the historical significance of the Schomburg and its public resources in relation to Harlem and New York City.
This program will take place off-site at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Participants are encouraged to bring their own cameras to document the surroundings of Schomburg and the Harlem community following the end of the program.
