Artist and master printer Gary Schneider, a close friend and collaborator of Peter Hujar, joins us to present his film Salters Cottages, which features Hujar in an enigmatic role alongside John Erdman and others. The screening will be followed by a slideshow presentation and a discussion with Andrew Durbin, author of The Wonderful World That Almost Was: A Life of Peter Hujar and Paul Thek, in which Schneider will discuss the enduring influence of his friendship with Hujar on his own artistic practice.
