After 20 years of building and running Dodsworth Motors, Sam Dodsworth has decided to sell his business and finally find time to relax. Sam’s wife Fran does not want to stay put in their Midwestern town called Zenith, but rather has booked an Atlantic crossing on the Queen Mary. During their travels Sam and Fran come to see each other in a new light and discover what they each want out of life.
