Legendary investigative journalist Seymour Hersh has been uncovering nefarious activities at the highest levels of the US government since the late 1960s. From the so-called My Lai Massacre in Vietnam to torture at Abu Ghraib, he has been an essential counterweight to the unchecked state. Award-winning filmmakers Laura Poitras and Mark Obenhaus have taken a keen interest in the activists, journalists, and artists who agitate on our behalf, and in Hersh they encounter a subject both worthy of their attention and wary of their scrutiny. Cover-Up is a fascinating look at history and how it is written.

Tickets are available to members at the Explore category and above beginning two weeks before each screening date. Additional tickets will be released to members and the general public one week before each screening date. Please note that space is extremely limited and tickets will be in high demand. Tickets can be reserved at moma.org/contenders beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET.
