Join us at the opening reception for the latest In the Making exhibition in the Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building at MoMA. This exhibition celebrates the creativity and innovation of the young artists who participated in our dynamic, six-week studio art program. Led by MoMA educators, these NYC high school students explored the theme of “Building Community and Belonging” within four areas: Sculpture; Drawings and Prints; Photography and the Moving Image; and Architecture and Design.
Participants experimented with new materials and processes, explored MoMA’s collection, met with artists and museum professionals, and built their portfolios through individual and collaborative art-making projects. We invite you to view their work at the Museum and to celebrate this exceptionally talented group of young artists and their completion of the In the Making program. The exhibition will be viewable during regular Museum hours through October 5, 2025.
