MoMA’s Designer’s Choice: Norman Teague—Jam Sessions exhibition poses a question: How can we reinterpret design history to make it more democratic and collaborative?
For this special evening, composer, bandleader, and keyboardist Ray Angry enters the conversation and asks, “What might this new way of looking at design history sound like?”
Join Angry, saxophonist Tomiko Sanders, and Norman Teague as they initiate a real-time musical and visual dialogue, blending genres from classical to jazz to hip-hop with beautiful design objects—the well-known, well-used, or even just well-conceptualized. By night’s end, we will rejoice in the power of improvisation and be reminded once more of the boundless possibility of creative collaboration.
This event is free; RSVP is required.
