Please join us for MoMA’s bimonthly program welcoming individuals who are blind or have low vision and their guests to participate in a gallery experience. Educators highlight specific themes, artists, or exhibitions through verbal description, multisensory experiences, and discussion.

Together we will explore the exhibition Vital Signs: Artists and the Body with curatorial assistant Margarita Lizcano Hernandez. The international, cross-generational group of artists in this exhibition use depictions of the body to address the question of what it means to be an individual within society—and how socially sustained categories of gender, race, and identity are rooted in abstraction.

The Lauder Building Entrance has a power-assist door.

Seating options include gallery stools and minimal gallery benches. Gallery stools, wheelchairs, and rollators are available by request at all programs.

Accessible restrooms are located in the Mezzanine and near the tour galleries. All-gender restrooms are located in the Lobby.

Guide dogs and other trained service animals are always welcome.
