Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofia Gascon, and Selena Gomez (joint winners of the Best Actress prize at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival) portray three women intertwined in an audacious tale of ambition, identity, love, and violence orchestrated by acclaimed director Jacques Audiard. A musical drama set in the world of drug cartels, Emilia Pérez leaps off the screen with a vivid score, set design, costumes, and choreography, and challenges expectations as it morphs and reveals itself along with its characters.
