    Introduction
    Active for over 6 decades, Donati's works record the evolution of American art from Abstract Expressionism and Surrealism to Pop Art, and was a member of the Surrealist group surrounding André Breton in New York City during WWII. He later became the head of the perfume company, Houbigant.
