Introduction
Studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine arts 1894-1899. He was an assistant teacher there in 1902. He taught painting and drawing at the Vienna School of Applied Arts 1905-1907. He taught graphic arts and book design at Hamburg School of Applied Arts from 1907-1943.
