Music, movies, makers, and monotypes—that pretty much sums up this week’s highlights:

• It’s the final week to see Edgar Degas: A Strange New Beauty, a “breathtaking” (WYNC) exhibition of the artist’s experimental and mysterious monotypes.
• This season’s Agora series in the Sculpture Garden wraps up on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., with guest artist Saya Woolfalk leading a conversation asking, “Will Everyone Be an Artist?”
• Artist members (learn more here) and artists with work in MoMA’s collection are invited to an Artist Member Open House on Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. All the galleries will be open, and Terrace 5 and the Garden Bar will be selling food and drinks.

• Catch postpunk trio Potty Mouth for this week’s Summer Thursdays concert. Their set begins at 6:30 in the Sculpture Garden (inside, in the case of rain), and the galleries are open until 8:30 p.m.
• A mid-career retrospective of director Ira Sachs’s work—New York magazine says he’s “gradually becoming the quintessential auteur of today’s New York”—starts on Friday with Forty Shades of Blue, followed by a Q&A with Sachs.
• On Saturday, the lineup for Warm Up at MoMA PS1 includes live performances by Oakland rapper Kamaiyah and Bronx-born Maluca Mala, with a headlining DJ set by Branko. Get tickets today!
• This Sunday’s Summergarden concert features New Music for String Quartet with the Cavatina Quartet, presented in conjunction with The Juilliard School. This free event takes place after the Museum is closed, in the Sculpture Garden, at 8:00 p.m.
