• Tonight, join MoMA’s Friends of Education for a conversation featuring internationally acclaimed artist Sam Gilliam, with Jonathan Binstock, the Mary W. and Donald R. Clark Director of the Memorial Art Gallery, University of Rochester. A limited number of tickets are still available, so don’t miss out.

• This Tuesday is the final day for Degas in Process: Making a Monotype, a workshop that lets visitors make their own own prints with artists from the EFA Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop. Space is limited, and sign-up is required.

• Take a midday escape and catch a screening of Otto Preminger’s masterpiece Bonjour Tristesse, starring Jena Seberg, on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.

Mark Lee Ping-Bing

• A film retrospective of the work of cinematographer Mark Lee Ping-Bing kicks off on Thursday with a screening of 2016’s Crosscurrent, and on Saturday Lee joins us for a discussion of his three-decade-long career.

• MoMA PS1 is the place to be this weekend, with Warm Up on Saturday and new exhibitions exploring the early work of Vito Acconci and celebrating the institution’s 40th anniversary opening on Sunday.
