Tammy Shell created this amazing stop-motion video to help us advertise our upcoming season of In the Making courses for teens. Held each year in the fall, spring, and summer, In the Making offers NYC high school students the chance to work with artists and educators on a variety of hands-on projects, culminating with a huge teen art show in The Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education Building’s gallery space. Upcoming spring courses include: “My Fake ID: Creating Art as an Invented Character;” “Art for Daredevils: Pranks, Tricks, and Death-Defying Stunts;” and “CLICK@MoMA: Wearable Technology,” a digital media course created in collaboration with Eyebeam Art + Technology Center.

Online applications are available now on MoMA.org and be sure to check out the MoMA Teens Facebook page for images of previous In the Making courses in action. Please note: letters of recommendations are required and applications are due on January 20, 2012.
