Louise Bourgeois. Paris Review. 1994

Louise Bourgeois Paris Review 1994

  • Not on view

This composition appeared on the cover of The Paris Review. Two versions—one color, one balck and white—were created to benefit that literary publication. Artists often choose printmaking when asked to donate a work to help an organization or a cause, since many examples can be made and sold for proceeds. Bourgeois contributed such prints to a range of humanitarian efforts, political issues, and arts organizations.
