With a background in 1960s Structuralist cinema (of Owen Land, Michael Snow, Paul Sharits, Tony Conrad, Hollis Frampton, Joyce Wieland), Fitzgibbon's film is a nonstop visual flow of headlines and text, all drawn from an issue of Time Magazine. The effect is an incessant restlessness of the filmic frame. A founding member of the artist group Collab, Fitgzibbon was an instigator of the 1980 Times Square Show
