Good News draws inspiration from the world of festivals, concerts, and promotional events. The installation is a covered square, a stage for events, and a landmark. A thin, colorful tent shades the steps of the courtyard of MAXXI, offering visitors a comfortable and cheerful indoor space. A large rectangular iron frame, which supports the tent, contains a stage designed to host events organized by the museum and other occasional performances. The large, illuminated text, “Good News,” dominates the scene, as if to ensure the good mood of passersby. The shaded square, designed to relieve the heat of the summer months, includes a number of seats, and large wooden objects that provide opportunities for play.
