Standing at the center of the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) main campus, the Icarus sculpture always reminds me to stay humble, honest, and hardworking and to use my knowledge for good. I’m committed to using my creativity and self-expression to influence the next generation of youth to evolve into a more accepting society, with equality for all.
