The collection consists of research materials and correpondence collected largely in 1977 in preparation for an article, "Alternative Space: Artists' Periodicals," Print Collector's Newsletter (vol. 8) September-October 1977. A major part of the article consists of a "Chronology" of artists' periodicals from 1900 through 1977.
The collection includes the following:
