Tracey Moffatt (Aboriginal)
1993. Australia. Directed by Tracey Moffatt. Moffatt's debut feature is the first directed by an Australian Aboriginal woman. Inspired by childhood ghost stories from both her extended Aboriginal and Irish Australian families, the film is a trilogy in which characters are haunted by the past and bewitched by memories. All are set in Moffatt's highly stylized, hyper-imaginary Australian landscape. 90 min.
