Patricio Luna
(Aymara) Patricio Luna (Aymara) has been a cultural activist in highland Bolivia for more than twenty years. His documentaries and short fictions focusing on indigenous life, often produced in the Aymara language, have been screened at film festivals in Latin America, Europe and the United States. He is a founding member of the Centro de Estudios y Apoyo al Desarrollo Saphi Aru, later incorporated into the award-winning grassroots organization Indigenous People's Audiovisual Communication of Bolivia (CAIB). Luna was born in the Province of Pacajes in the Bolivian Altiplano.
