Marcelina Cárdenas Sausa
(Quechua) Since 1997, Marcelina C�rdenas Sausa (Quechua) has been active as video producer, community radio reporter, and member of the award-winning grassroots organization Indigenous People's Audiovisual Communication of Bolivia (CAIB). Her first feature Lanthupi Munakuy had its U.S. premiere during NMAI's 2002 video tour Ojo del C�ndor/Eye of the Condor. C�rdenas graduated from Potosi's Universidad Aut�noma Tom�s Fr�as, where she studied linguistics with a special emphasis in Quechua. She is also a community activist, working with women's groups in her community of CK'ochas to promote training in agriculture, health, literacy, and community organizing.
