Conclusion to Identity 914

Learning Specialist, Emma Waldman:  Art is a powerful form of showing others who we are and who we want to be. Exploring all of these different works of art, we've seen how artists have referenced their hobbies, their interests, their own community, to really showcase what it means to be themselves. And they've all done so in very different ways from one another.

My hope is that we will start to understand that there's many different ways to represent who we are, especially when it comes to all the different parts that make up who we are.

I hope you explore more of the Museum, and take notice of other artists and how they've represented who they are. Maybe you'll see some similarities to your own identity. You might have more questions about why the artist created that work and how it relates to them. And you might even find ways in which you yourself can maybe create something that really represents who you are.
