It's interesting that she did choose to have X-rays made of herself when they were in no way medically necessitated. And not only is that sort of a risky endeavor to embark on, but it also is absolutely illegal. And so there's a certain complicity with the doctor who allowed it to happen that I think goes to something else that I note in Genzken's work often, is a wry sense of humor that borders on the diabolical.
