This spring we are thrilled to offer another extensive schedule of exclusive events for The Junior Associates, along with several exciting art viewing opportunities across the city. Here at the Museum, we will attend curatorial walk-throughs of the exhibitions One Way Ticket: Jacob Lawrence’s Migration Series and Other Visions of the Great Movement North, Latin America in Construction: Architecture 1955-1980, and Yoko Ono: One Woman Show, 1960–1971. Our spring calendar also includes a special event with MoMA Trustee and FLAG Founder, Glenn Fuhrman, at The FLAG Foundation. We will visit with artists Todd Pavlisko, Samara Golden, Zoe Leonard, and Zoe Buckman. Additionally, the JAs will have outings to Creative Time and Central Park’s installation, Drifting in Daylight, as well as Buckhorn Sculpture Park in Pond Ridge. Last but not least, all of us here at MoMA can’t wait for Party in the Garden on Tuesday, June 2. Please visit our Calendar of Events for further details as well as a complete listing of events.
The Junior Associates is an affiliate group of The Museum of Modern Art, comprised of individuals ages 21 to 40 who support and participate in modern and contemporary art programs. Each season the group is provided with opportunities to attend special Museum activities as well as events scheduled outside the Museum, organized exclusively for The Junior Associates as a younger audience.
